Fred Jenne & guest, Jim Latham, take top honors this year as they were undefeated in the no elimination, round-robin draw.  In the final match of the day Jenne/Latham faced Matt Conologue and guest, Joe Conti (pictured below).
              
The teams were tied with 2-0 records. Jenne/Latham pulled out the victory in a tie-breaker.  Camilo Duarte paired with Nevena Arsic & Bob Stumpf with guest, Wilbert Brown, rounded out the field.  Thanks to The Brisben Center of Fredericksburg for their prize donation of two Fawn Lake embroidered fleece blankets!
FLCC Club Tennis Championships Update
A one-time extension has been offered as most draws have not been completed.   All round-robin play must be completed by close of business on Sunday, October 9th.  The finals matches must be completed by close of business Sunday, October 16th.

Racket Drive
We will be collecting used rackets & tennis ball donations.  Your donations will go to local schools & tennis players in need.  Any tennis racket will be appreciated.  Rackets with broken strings & needing grips are fine too (please, no broken frames).  Composite, metal or wood… it’s all good.  Donations may be delivered starting today at the Tennis Hut!
