Wine & Beer Festival – Sunday, September 11th starts at 1pm
Join us for our first Wine & Beer Festival.  All profits will be donated to charities to include Spotsylvania Fire & Rescue, Leashes of Valor & Vets on Track Foundation.  Enjoy some local wine, beer & cider along with of Chef Garth's extraordinary handheld foods & live music from 1pm-5pm while donating to charity!  We will also be offering some amazing items in a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.  All tickets are non-refundable and you must be an FLCC member and 21+ to attend.  Early bird ticket pricing is $50 per person and this price will increase to $60 per person beginning September 1st.  You will not want to miss this event!

Trivia with Brandon – Tuesday, September 13th Trivia starts at 7pm
Join us for dinner in the Harbor Club and then test your knowledge!  Up to 8 people per table (team), FREE to play for FLCC members and $25 for guests/non-members.  The winning team gets a $50 account credit (split amongst their team)!  As a reminder, a limited food menu will be available in the Harbor Club.

Ox-Eye Vineyards Riesling (2021) $35 Bottle
This off dry wine presents notes of honeysuckle, beeswax & apricot.  The key to this wine are the limestone soils under the vineyard near Staunton that boost the minerality in both the aromas and palate.  Full bodied and suitable for a wide range of dishes, from fish, to fruit, to creamy dishes.

Jefferson Vineyards Petit Verdot (2020) $38 Bottle
 Smooth and approachable with medium tannins, blackberry, and vibrant oak component.  Aromas of vanilla, blackberry, and tobacco lead to a vibrant palate filled with similar flavors and an oak-dominant finish.  Pairs will with heavier cuts of beef as well as chocolate based desserts.
