Acknowledgement of Membership Privileges

The facilities of Fawn Lake Country Club are operated by Fawn Lake Country Club, Inc. (the “Club”), a Virginia corporation. The undersigned Applicant hereby acknowledges that the Club facilities are operated by the Club and that membership at Fawn Lake Country Club permits the member to use the facilities, but is not an investment in the Club, nor does membership confer on the member any equity or ownership interest or any other property interest in the Club or the facilities provided at Fawn Lake Country Club. Membership does not give a member a vested or prescriptive right to easement to use the facilities of the Club but grants the member a non-exclusive revocable license to use the facilities. Members do not have any interest in the income of the Club and do not have the right to receive any of the Club’s assets if the Club is dissolved. A member only acquires a non-exclusive revocable license to use the facilities provided at Fawn Lake Country Club.

Payment of Membership Fee & Club Membership Account

All dues, fees, food, beverage, merchandise, services, and other charges of the Club charged to the member’s account will be billed monthly and shall be due upon receipt and shall be deemed delinquent if not paid within 30 days after the date of the monthly statement. If approved for membership, the undersigned Applicant hereby agrees to pay the Club the required membership fee set forth below, plus all applicable taxes, and the Club account when due. Past due bills will accrue a late fee each month established by the Club from time to time until paid in full. The undersigned agrees to pay all reasonable attorneys’ fees, investigation fees, and other costs incurred in connection with collection of delinquent accounts. The Club reserves the right to suspend and/or recall memberships for accounts that are delinquent for 60 days and 90 days, respectively.

The undersigned Applicant hereby acknowledges receipt of the governing documents of Fawn Lake Country Club, including Club Bylaws, Plan for the Offering of Memberships, and the Rules and Policies collectively, and the undersigned further agrees to be bound by all of its respective terms and conditions as it may be further amended from time to time. If approved for membership, the undersigned agrees to fully substitute the membership privileges acquired pursuant to the Membership Plan for any present and prior rights in or to use the Club Facilities.

I understand that acceptance for membership at Fawn Lake Country Club is subject to approval by the Club and payment of the required membership contribution, dues, and charges. Checks are to be made payable to Fawn Lake Country Club accompanies this application for membership. Further, only monies received by the Club will be categorized as paid, and if membership is transferred before total initiation is paid, member is responsible for paying remainder of initiation fee due at time of transfer.
