Welcome to the Fawn Lake Country Club Tennis program! Whether you are new to the game, an advanced tournament player or somewhere in between, we have something for you at FLCC.

To get you started in the right direction, your membership representative will sign you up for a complimentary hitting session/orientation with one of our tennis professionals. During this session, we will assess your level of play and design a program to help satisfy your instructional, competitive, social and fitness needs. Additionally, we would like to offer a one-day, free pass for one of our instructional clinics or ball machine drills.

After assessing your level of play, with your permission, we will add you to our player’s list/member directory. Information on the list includes: your name and any contact information you wish to list, your level of play, your availability and your playing preference (singles, doubles etc…). Inclusion in the directory is voluntary and the information is only available to fellow tennis members.

The Tennis Department offers a variety of instructional opportunities in both group and private sessions. Classes range from principles of tennis for beginners, to advanced drills and cardio tennis for the more accomplished player. Ball machine drills are an ideal supplement to your instructional program. Classes are available spring, summer and fall, early morning, daytime, evenings and weekends.

Competition: We offer flight and scramble programs. For the tournament player, we offer our Club Singles and Doubles Championships. Match play runs throughout the year with the finals in the fall.

Social: Join our monthly tennis socials, play in a seasonal group or invite a friend to our MemberGuest social events.

Fitness: Test your endurance in one of our cardio tennis or ball machine drills.

“For the kids in the family, we have a progression of classes to take them from their first time on the court to advanced tournament play. Lessons begin with Quick Start and Little Tennis classes, typically designed for players ages 5-8. After displaying the competencies required for each level, players move on to the Beginner level, Intermediate, Varsity and High Performance/Tournament Drill classes.

Players may supplement their instructional plan with one of our match play opportunities. Start with our beginner round robins then move on to join our Junior Team Tennis League. Experienced players may choose from one of the USTA sanctioned tournaments the club hosts during the summer.

Please contact your professional staff with any questions. I look forward to meeting you soon!”
